Carpet cleaning in Coeur d’Alene and the Inland Northwest

Hot-water extraction that pulls the dirt out instead of pushing it around. Priced by the room so you know the number before Darrin unrolls a hose.

What you get

  • Truck-mounted hot-water extraction
  • Priced by the room, not by the square foot
  • Pre-inspection and pre-treatment on every job
  • Non-toxic, EPA-certified, residue-free solvents

What carpet cleaning actually removes

Vacuuming lifts the loose material sitting on top of the pile. It does not touch the gritty sand, road de-icer, pollen and oily soil that has worked its way down to the base of the fiber — and that is the material doing the damage. Grit acts like sandpaper every time somebody walks across it, which is why traffic lanes go dull and flat years before the rest of the room.

Steam cleaning is the fix. High-temperature water and a cleaning agent break the oily film holding soil to the fiber, and the truck-mounted vacuum pulls it back out of the carpet along with the water. You get the color back, the pile stands up again, and the carpet lasts longer.

Built for North Idaho floors

Homes here take a particular kind of beating. Sanded winter roads track grit indoors from November through March. Spring means mud and pollen. Summer means lake water, sunscreen and dogs coming in off the trail.

That is the soil load Everclean cleans every week, and it is why the pre-treatment step is not optional. Ground-in traffic lanes and edge filtration marks get worked before the wand ever touches them.

Priced by the room, and you can stop after one

Most companies price by the square foot, which means the number moves after they have measured your house. Everclean prices by the room, so the estimate you get on the phone is the estimate.

If you are not happy after the first room is cleaned, you can stop the job and you will not pay for that room. That has been Everclean's offer for years and it has not changed.

How it works

The ten-step carpet cleaning process

This is the process Everclean has published and used for years — no changes, just written more clearly.

  1. Free estimate

Call 208.660.1009 or send the estimate form. You get a real number for the rooms you want cleaned.

  2. Priced by room, not square foot

Room-by-room pricing instead of square-footage charges. Everclean cleans one room first — if you are not happy, you can cancel the job and pay nothing for that room.

  3. Pre-cleaning inspection

A walkthrough of the rooms together, noting spots of special concern and anything you want handled a particular way.

  4. Non-toxic, EPA-certified cleaners

The cleaning solutions used are high quality, safe, non-toxic and EPA certified.

  5. Pre-treatment

A pre-treatment goes down to break up dirt and oils so the extraction pass can lift them out.

  6. Spot cleaning

Stubborn spots and stains get worked individually before the whole room is cleaned.

  7. Disinfectant

Carpet fibers are disinfected and deep-cleaned with the truck-mounted system.

  8. All-fiber rinse

A high-temperature rinse clears out the cleaning residue, so nothing sticky is left behind to attract dirt.

  9. Protectant (optional)

You can add a stain repellant to the freshly cleaned carpet if you want the protection back.

  10. Follow-up call

A two-day follow-up call to get your final approval on the work.

FAQ

Carpet Cleaning — common questions

How often should carpets be cleaned?

Everclean recommends once every 12–18 months for homes without pets or children, and once every 6–12 months for homes with pets and children.

How long does carpet take to dry?

Drying time depends on the carpet, the humidity and the airflow in the room. Moving air through the space with fans or the furnace fan speeds it up considerably. Ask Darrin what to expect for your specific carpet when he does the walkthrough.

Do I need to move the furniture?

Clearing small items, breakables and anything on the floor helps. Talk through the larger pieces during the pre-cleaning walkthrough so there are no surprises.

Will the cleaning solutions be safe around my pets and kids?

The solvents Everclean uses are EPA certified, non-toxic, pet friendly and family friendly, and the high-temperature rinse pulls the cleaning residue back out of the fiber.
